Lexington, KY - Central Kentucky's oldest community theatre will begin its 58th season in September with Brian Hampton's "The Jungle Fun Room" (directed by Bob Singleton). The Jungle Fun Room. Sept. 16 -
Oct. 10. This play by Brian Hampton centers on a group of struggling actors who spend their days working children's birthday parties at the New York City Zoo. When an eager new worker arrives fresh from the musical theatre conservatory boat, followed by the birthday girl's Oscar-winning mom, it throws all involved into an emotional and hysterical loop.
Christmas Belles. Nov. 18 -
Dec. 5. This holiday production by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten (directed by Tonda-Leah Fields) pits the dysfunctional Futrelle sisters against one another, and the small town of Fayro, Texas, as they try to keep the Tabernacle of the Lamb's Christmas Program from spiraling into chaos.
Garden District. Mar. 17 - Apr 13, 2011. "Garden District," by Tennessee Williams (directed by Deborah Martin), consists of two one-act plays by the master of sultry Southern drama -
"Suddenly Last Summer" and "Something Unspoken" -
tied together by their setting in the New Orleans Garden District.

June 5, 2011. "Loot," by Joe Orton (directed by Eric Seale), follows the fortunes of two young thieves as they rob the bank next to the funeral parlor where one of the crooks works and then take the money to the home of the other's mother. The arrival of an inspector sends their plot into a downward spiral.
