The Mall at Lexington Green will be celebrating its grand reopening with a day of festivities from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Aug. 24. The day will be marked with special offers, events and demonstrations in every store throughout the day, according to a press release.
A number of new stores have opened in the shopping center off of Nicholasville Road this past year, including women's clothing store Anthropologie and the new local restaurant Palmers Fresh Grill.
Activities for the day include a fashion show, hourly prize giveaways, food tastings, live music, children's activities and more.
The celebration will also feature a silent auction of five individual sections of the 2012 UK Championship floor. Proceeds will benefit DanceBlue, which assists the lives of children and families suffering from childhood cancer through the Golden Matrix Fund.
