In less than two weeks, the third annual GoodGiving Guide Challenge has raised over $400,000 for over 100 regional nonprofits.
The campaign is an online fundraising partnership between Smiley Pete Publishing and Blue Grass Community Foundation.
With a combination of over $320,000 coming in from nearly 1,900 donors, combined with $80,000 of challenge prizes awarded, the campaign, as of Nov. 14, had raised a total of $407,564.
Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence has held on its spot at the top of the leader board, with $19,671 raised. However, Bluegrass Rape Crisis Center has had the most individual donors, with 148.
The GoodGiving Guide Challenge has two challenges running this week, including one that ends today, Nov. 14. Good Foods Market and Cafe will donate 25 percent of sales through 10 p.m. to the Grand Finale Match Pool. On Saturday, Nov. 16, anyone who donates $200 or more to the challenge will receive 20 percent off of their purchase at Mulberry & Lime.
