Lexington literary organization Carnegie Center for Literacy & Learning invites young women in grades 9-12 to apply to the Young Women Writers Project, a series of intensive workshops focused on self-expression taught by experienced women writers.
Funded by the Kentucky Foundation for Women and Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky, six sessions will be held on Saturdays during February, March, and April 2014 for selected participants, incorporating on creative writing exercises in a variety of genres. Full scholarships will be awarded for all selected participants.
