Lexington, KY - Two from Lexington will be among the thinkers gathering in Aspen, Colorado for the annual Aspen Ideas Festival.
And you will be able to follow Jonathan Karp, a rising senior at Lafayette High School, and Lafayette science teacher Zachary Matson as they take in special events and engage in roundtable discussions with international leaders, acclaimed thinkers, policymakers and artists.

has arranged for Karp and Matson who are attending the July 5-11 event as 2010 Bezos Scholars, to provide daily blogs about their experiences on bizlex.com.
The Bezos Family Foundation will provide photos to accompany the updates.

After returning from Aspen, each student/teacher team will plan a local ideas festival that focuses on a relevant issue for the scholars and their respective schools. The most impressive plans are rewarded with $1,000 grants to use as seed money.
