Lexington, Ky. - November U.S. sales for Toyota plummeted 34 percent, the most in two decades. The entire automotive industry has been falling monthly for more than a year, the longest sustained decline in 17 years.
The new Sequoia and Lexus LX SUVs were the only Toyota products to post sales gains. Deliveries of every other model across the Toyota, Lexus and Scion line skidded downward to 103,307. By comparison, Japan's number-two automaker, Honda sold 76,233 vehicles.
