An appearance by CentrePointe developer Dudley Webb before the Urban County Council on the invitation of Mayor Jim Newberry quickly escalated into a heated tit-for-tat between Webb and Vice Mayor Jim Gray, with other members of council expressing dismay, even embarrassment.
The Mayor had invited Webb to come before the council and respond to questions about the project, which has not materialized in the time-frame put forth by the developer.
