Bluegrass Community and Technical College has named Bruce Manley as Winchester-Clark County campus director and Erin Tipton as Danville campus director. Both started their new positions in November. Manley previously worked as an associate registrar at the University of Kentucky, and Tipton has served as the BCTC associate dean of student services outreach.
Central Bank has announced several officer promotions. Timothy R. Austin (Lexington) has been promoted to loan services officer. Susan Bradley (Lexington), Lee Coleman (Winchester) and Donna Haney (Richmond) have each been promoted to assistant vice president, and Kevin J. Lippert (Lexington) has been named technology services officer.
Fifth Third Bank has named several banking center managers as officers of the bank, including Michael Carlos (Chevy Chase), Matt Merryweather (Paris), Michelle Lyndon (Bryan Station) and David Anderson (Versailles Road). Tyler Gossett has been appointed as mortgage loan originator.
Carolyn Stone Edwards and Francis Lynn Luallen have been appointed to the Kentucky Housing Corporation Board of Directors. Edwards, a Realtor with Re/Max Creative, represents real estate practitioners licensed by the Kentucky Real Estate Commission. She replaces Ann O. Cornette, whose term has expired.
Luallen, president of The Housing Partnership Inc., represents interests of the home construction industry and replaces Don Ball, who has resigned.
Patrick E. Adams has been appointed as director of enforcement for the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission (KHRC).
North American design firm Stantec has appointed Scott Murray of Lexington as managing leader for the firm's operations in the eastern half of the United States. Stantec's U.S. East region comprises more than 2,000 employees in 56 offices across 23 states. Murray, a civil engineer and senior vice president, previously served as regional manager for the firm's Southeast and South regions.
Mark Simpson, AIA, CID and Ben Willen PE, LEED AP have joined the Lexington office of J.R. Miller & Associates, Inc. (JRMA), an A&E design firm headquartered in Brea, Calif.

The Board of Directors of Central Kentucky Riding for Hope, the therapeutic riding program based at the Kentucky Horse Park, has elected a new slate of officers. Walter Palmer, president of PCG Solutions Inc., has been elected president. Robert Blitch has been elected vice president, and Jeanne Owens has been elected secretary. CKRH's Board of Directors has also welcomed newly elected members Susan S. Bunning, Valerie Cravens, Meg Levy and Brad Scoggin.
