James H. Frazier, III, managing member of McBrayer, McGinnis, Leslie & Kirkland, PLLC, has been elected to the Commerce Lexington Inc. Board of Directors to serve a three-year term, beginning in 2012.
The Women's Network Political Action Committee has announced that Linda Klembara, Brandy Bailey, and Sharon Damron have agreed to join the organization's board of directors. Klembara will take the helm as president, Bailey will serve as vice-president, and Damron will serve as treasurer.

The Lexington Convention and Visitors Bureau (LCVB) was named as a winner of Smart Meetings magazine's 2011 Platinum Choice Award in its first-time recognition of the category of convention and visitors bureaus across North America. In August, the LCVB was awarded a 14th Gold Service Award by Meetings & Convention Magazine for dedication to quality service. Also, the December issue of Convention South features the 2011 class of Readers' Choice Award winners, including the LCVB.
In addition, Mary Quinn Ramer, LCVB's vice president, tourism marketing, was recently chosen by PhoCusWright as part of the 2011 Class of Young Leaders.
