Tammy Fox has joined Fifth Third Bank as the financial center manager for the Richmond Road Banking Center. Julie Hamilton has also joined the bank as a financial center manager, and Will Puckett has joined Fifth Third Bank as a mortgage loan originator. Holly Branham (commercial banking) has been promoted to vice president. David Verville (commercial equine), Peter Nesmith (mortgage), Dani Sullivan (Georgetown Banking Center manager) and Jacob Robinson (Paris Banking Center manager) have been promoted to assistant vice president. Kerry Bickett (Chevy Chase Banking Center manager) was promoted to officer.
Danny Abner has been appointed as vice president/loan review officer for Central Bank.
Wright Property Management has announced the appointments of Brian Pearce as general manager, Jason Hadley as assistant general manager and Windy Lane as director of sales for its new property Hyatt Place Lexington, located off I-75 near I-64 in Lexington.

The Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has named U.S. Bank Community Division Manager Bill Jones as its chairman-elect. Jones' new role with the Kentucky Chamber comes after the resignation of 2009 chair-elect Joan Coleman, who recently retired from her post as president of AT&T Kentucky. A longtime Kentucky Chamber board and executive committee member, Jones was also named the Chamber's interim treasurer, due to the departure of Treasurer Craig Grant. Grant, formerly regional president of PNC Bank for Kentucky and Indiana, resigned from the board after accepting a position with PNC Bank in Florida. Deb Moessner, president of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kentucky, has been elected to fill the vacancy Jones leaves as vice chair of business education.

Rebecca Tutt has joined the University of Kentucky Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine as a physician assistant (PA). Tutt will be a part of the sports medicine service at UK HealthCare where she will assist Dr. Christian Latterman in the UK Center for Cartilage Repair and Restoration.

The Lexington-Bluegrass Association of REALTORS has named Melissa Poynter as its 2008 REALTOR of the Year. Billy Smith was honored as the 2008 Commercial REALTOR of the Year, and Gerry Whalen received the organization's 2008 Good Neighbor Award.
Bluegrass Community Hospital in Versailles, Ky., a subsidiary of LifePoint Hospitals, Inc., has been selected as winner of its parent company's "High Five" award, in recognition of its achievement in the five areas of patient care, employee satisfaction, physician satisfaction, community contribution and financial accountability. As part of the recognition, the Hospital will receive $250,000 in capital funding to be spent at the hospital's discretion to improve the provision of patient care in the community.
Clint Ray Goodin, P.E., PLS, of Vaughn & Melton Consulting Engineers, Inc. in Middlesboro, Ky., has been named as the 2009 Young Engineer of the Year by the Kentucky Society of Professional Engineers (KSPE).
Local technology company Software Information Systems, LLC (SIS) has received the IBM Lotus Distinguished Partner of the Year Award, 2008 for North America. The honor was one of only six such awards given to technology partners in North America, Latin America, Asia Pacific, Japan and Europe.
Phyllis Cronin has been recognized by the Rotary Club of Lexington with the Rotary's Humanitarian Award. She is a founding member and past president of the Saint Joseph Foundation Board of Directors, founding president of Camp Horsin' Around, and current vice president of the Lexington Clinic Foundation, among many other past and present community leadership roles.
