Do you dream when you sleep?
Yes, always. A lot of my dreams are very scattered and abstract and sometimes I recall snippets of five or six dreams I’ve had in one night. I don’t remember a lot of them unless something throughout my day triggers an association. The best part is I have a few people from my past that frequent my dreams. I don’t know whether I invite them into my dreams or they just miss me too.
What food can you not live without?
Five year vintage Gouda
What constitutes a perfect evening for you?
Perhaps a theatre performance but even more, a long rewarding rehearsal of a great play with a great director, Evan Bergman. Fantastic food paired with fantastic wine. Friends who make me laugh and love great conversation. Being outside on a deck either in the summer or around a bonfire. I’m pretty simple. I love food and wine, I love my friends, I love what I do and I love who I’m with. If I can have all that it makes for a perfect evening and some dancing might have to be involved.
What is your favorite season and why?
The fall. I love the smell of fall, the colors of fall, the temperatures of fall. It is the perfect season.
What is a favorite high school memory?
Graduation. The day and night of my high school graduation was one of the best days I can remember. My dad gave me the most incredibly thoughtful gift I have ever received and my mom threw me an amazing party. It was a great day.
What is a Lexington building you admire?
Do the houses on South Ashland count? I could inhabit any one of them and be happy.
