Lexington, KY - UK Health & Wellness and the Lexington Farmers Market have partnered to present Lexington Farmers Market @ UK.
Running through much of the local growing season, this summer will be the first time local growers will set up kiosks on the UK campus to sell fresh produce.
Lexington Farmers Market @ UK will be open rain or shine from 3 − 6 p.m. Wednesdays through Aug. 15 in the Commonwealth Stadium parking lot adjacent to University Drive. (The only exception is July 4, when the market will be closed for Independence Day.)
Shoppers can pay with cash or debit card. Shoppers using debit cards must visit the Lexington Farmers Market table before shopping to purchase tokens, which are accepted as payment by the farmers.
