What is your favorite comfort food?
Anything involving melted cheese. Hot Brown may be at the top of the list.
What would you say is the best gift you have ever received?
If children don’t count, then I would say a freestanding mixer. I’m a huge baker.
How do you spend a perfect day off?
I know this may seem boring to most, but starting the day with a great workout, having a clean house (preferably not done by me), old movies, family and a nice dinner. I’m a sucker for Doris Day and Carey Grant.
What is the first job you ever had?
Travel Agent. It was a fabulous job for someone straight out of college. I traveled all over the world before I was 30.
What technology can you not live without?
My smart phone. I’m not sure how I managed beforehand, though I love describing life before internet and cell phones to my children.
What is something about life that continues to surprise you?
I’m always amazed how compassionate people can be in times of trouble. Total strangers who are willing to help. Gives you hope and makes you want to pay it forward.
