Lexington, KY - Lexington-based Forcht Bank has announced intentions to acquire Grant County Deposit Bank of Willaimstown, Ky.
“We’re excited about the opportunity to unite two great community banks that are passionate about providing excellent customer service and giving back to the community. Grant County Deposit Bank has served this community since 1882 and has the same vision and mission as we do,” Forcht Bank’s President, Tucker Ballinger, said in a June 12th release announcing the acquisition pending regulatory and shareholder approval.
Once the sale is complete, Grant County Deposit Bank will become part of Forcht Bank. Forcht operates 30 banking centers in 12 counties around Kentucky.
As of the March 31st filings with the FDIC, Forcht Bank reported $938 million in total assets while Grant County Deposit Bank reported $79 million.
