West Sixth Brewing Co. this week launched canned sales of its Belgian Blonde, the first beer in its new seasonal series.
Known in the West Sixth taproom as the Bryan Ave Belgian Blonde, the beer is light in color, with hints of spiciness attributed to the Belgian-style yeast used during the brewing process, according to the brewery. It features a yellow and orange label with a pastoral Kentucky farm scene.
“The beer has sweet malt flavors, and finishes moderately dry with just enough hop bitterness to balance out any remaining sweetness,” brewery officials said in a statement.
West Sixth kicked off the release Monday at its taproom. The beer will be available on a limited basis starting this month. It will be available both in six-packs and draft at bars and retail stores throughout West Sixth’s distribution area, which includes Kentucky and southern Ohio.
