A new cafe opening in the burgeoning National Avenue area east of downtown will add trendy broth and raw foods choices to region’s growing culinary options.
Caldo is set to open May 26 inside the local holistic health facility Centered, 309 N. Ashland, Suite 180. Chef Allison Davis, owner of Wild Thyme Cooking School, is opening the cafe. Davis said she began offering Wild Thyme clients bone broth by the quart and demand blossomed.
"At Caldo, every ingredient has a purpose. Our food is layered with health and flavor," Davis said in a statement.
