Anticipating a record number of passengers on Sunday and Monday following this weekend’s much anticipated Breeders’ Cup World Championships at Keeneland, Blue Grass Airport is urging departing passengers to arrive two hours before their planned departure time.
The airport is also encouraging customers to make us of the mobile check-in and boarding options available so they can avoid long lines at the airline ticket counters.
For those looking to occupy their time while they wait for their flights, Blue Grass Airport has arranged for special entertainment at the terminal in recognition of the Breeders’ Cup event, including a Sounds of the Bluegrass musical performance program, Kentucky food product tastings, an art trunk show and author book signings.
For more information, passengers can contact the airport’s information center at (859)425-3100 or check online at www.bluegrassairport.com.
