Registration is now open for the fourth annual Supplier Diversity Fair, sponsored by the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) and the University of Kentucky.
The free event will be held on October 12, from 1 to 4 p.m., at the Frankfort Convention Center in Frankfort, Kentucky. Minority-owned, women-owned, veteran-owned and differently-abled businesses interested in potential business opportunities with KCTCS and UK are invited to exhibit and/or attend.
“This event offers opportunities to diverse suppliers that want to do business with both of our organizations within the communities we serve,” said KCTCS System Director of Business Services Vikki Parman, in a release announcing the fair. “It’s a great venue for exhibitors to meet purchasing decision makers.”
The fair will provide suppliers with the opportunity to meet face-to-face with representatives from the 16 KCTCS colleges and the KCTCS System Office and buyers from UK. Buyers and officials may also be in attendance from additional organizations, such as Commerce Lexington, the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, the Kentucky Finance and Administration Cabinet, Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, Small Business Administration, Toyota and more.
Last year’s Supplier Diversity Fair featured 100 booths and was attended by more than 300 guests.
Registration/exhibit space is free, but extremely limited. Registrations will be honored on a first-come, first-served basis. To register a business, visit http://systemoffice.kctcs.edu/FairRegistration.
