A new clothing and shoe store for men and women called Omar + Elsie officially opened its doors for the first time this February.
Located just off East Main St. on Old Lafayette Ave., the boutique was founded by owner Abby Lundergan Dobson, who named the store after her grandparents.
Though the store predominantly focuses on shoes, they also have a selection of apparel, home goods, accessories, and ready-to-wear clothing for both women and men.
“What I’m focusing on is very comfortable, classic, but unique, styles and fits,” Dobson said. “These are brands that Lexington has not had before, and we’re really laying the groundwork for timeless but fashionable pieces.”
Store hours are Monday-Friday, from 10am-5:30pm, and Saturday from 10am-4pm.
