Lexington-based NPR affiliate station 91.3 WUKY will host a karaoke contest during this year's Lexington Pride Festival, and participants are invited to show their talent at a handful of preliminary audition events! Each participant will perform one song in front of a panel of judges at the auditions, and the finalists from the preliminaries will be invited to perform on the Pride festival main stage at from 4:45-5 p.m. on Saturday, June 25.
Preliminary auditions will take place at the following places:
June 6: The Bar Complex, 224 E. Main St. (sign-ups 8-9 pm; contest 9-10 pm)
June 7: Crossings Lexington, 117 N. Limestone, Lexington, KY (sign-ups 8-9 pm; contest 9-10 pm)
June 15: Third Street Stuff Coffee House, 257 N. Limestone (sign-ups 7-8pm; contest 8-9pm)
June 21: Crossings Lexington, 117 N. Limestone (sign-ups 8-9pm; contest 9-10pm)
