Bach to Now Chamber Ensemble: ‘Love: Earthly and Divine’

Bach to Now, Lexington’s newest chamber music series, was created to bring together professional singers and instrumentalists to perform music from the Baroque to the present. Our April recital, Love: Earthly and Divine, will feature Brahms’ wonderful Liebeslieder Waltzes for vocal quartet, arias from J.S. Bach’s St. Matthew Passion as well as works by Handel, Schumann and Campagnoli. Guest artist Kate Tombaugh, mezzo-soprano, will join the core ensemble of soprano, tenor, oboe, cello and keyboard.
