The Chamber Music Festival of Lexington celebrates the opening of its 12th season at 6:30 PM on Thursday, August 16 at Ashland, The Henry Clay Estate in a free concert featuring Ben Sollee and Central Kentucky Youth Orchestras All-Stars. Beginning at 5:00 PM, West Sixth Brewing and Ginkgo Tree Cafe - Ashland, Henry Clay Estate will be on-site with food & drinks available for purchase before the show.
Due to the rain, the Opening Event of the 2018 Chamber Music Festival will now take place inside Ashland: The Henry Clay Estate. Unfortunately, there's no room for a live audience, but the show will be broadcast live on Facebook Live.
Tune into the event's Facebook page to catch Ben Sollee and a trio from the Central Kentucky Youth Orchestras play a live show from inside Ashland.
Also, this note from the organization: "Because we're sad we won't get to see you in person tonight, we're offering a very special 'rain check' ticket deal.
