This year’s annual Chinese Moon Festival features live performances of Chinese dance and music from Kentucky Chinese American Association (KCYAA) Chinese School students, KYCAA members and other invited dancers and musicians. The celebration honors the end of the autumn harvest, and also boasts free samples of mooncakes (a traditional Chinese pastry), a mooncake competition, a contest for student essays and artwork, Chinese crafts, inflatables, a petting zoo, dinner under the moon and more.
