Crave Lexington and the Lexington Art League are joining forces to present the biggest food fight Lexington has ever seen!In conjunction with the Lexington Art League exhibit “FEAST: Pleasure Hunger Ritual,” this Fourth Friday event will feature guest chefs preparing dishes inspired by different artworks from the exhibit; live music from Idiot Glee; West Sixth beer and the chance for attendees to decorate themselves and each other with food provided by Crave Lexington (a 2-day food and music festival taking place August 22 23).Featured Chefs: Craig DeVilliers of Graze Market & Cafe Dan Wu of Culinary EvangelistMore to be announced!Each chef will create a $5 dollar item (vegetarian options as well) and a $1 dollar item inspired by a piece from the exhibition. At 8:00pm the Food Fight will begin…How to Food Fight: Step 1 – Wear all white attire (something you can get messy!) Step 2 – Grab your recipe card at the LAL entrance (this will be your ticket to the Food Fight!) Step 3 – At 8:00pm make your way to the courtyard to be a part of the biggest food fight in Lexington! Step 4 – Wait for your recipe card to be called – this means its your turn to get your food fight on.. Once you hear the air horn, its time to fling, smash and squirt – make a mess! When you hear the air horn again, that means its time to stop and let the next group have a go!No food that would be suitable for human consumption will be used. In addition, no food that will cause injury will be used.
