Filmslang: Day 1
Filmslang is a film festival based in Lexington, Kentucky dedicated to showcasing bold and fiercely independent films by filmmakers from Kentucky and her border states. This year’s festival takes place Oct. 6-9 at various venues, including the state-of-the-art Farish Theater at the Lexington Public Library.

5:30 p.m. – Shorts Block #1: “Emerging Stories” at the Farish Theater, $5
7:30 p.m. – a screening of the narrative feature “ANOUNAK: Rain the Color of Blue with A Little Red in It” at the Lyric Theater, $5
9 p.m. – a screening of the documentary feature “NUTS!” at the Farish Theater, $5
10:30 p.m. – a post-screening discussion and mixer at 21c Museum Hotel, Free
