Local woodturner, Chad Eames, will discuss bowl turning safety, tools, sharpening, wood selection, and options for safely mounting wood on the lathe, as well as different approaches to bowl-turning. This class will focus on proper tool usage. Everyone will practice the techniques as they turn their own bowl.
Participants in this class should first take the Introduction to Woodturning class, or have hands-on experience and be comfortable at the lathe.
