August brings the return of The Mighty Groovers from Cincinnati. True to their name, these guys, led by Trumpeter Mike Wade, perform “funkifized” jazz fusion. Dayton’s Tony Whack (bass), is making his first series appearance, joining Dwayne Irvin-sax, George Simon-Guitar, Melvin Broach-drums and Charlie Schweitzer-percussion.
