Young male choral singers in Fayette and surrounding counties are invited to participate in this one-day workshop, during which they will receive training and coaching in singing a capella 4-part harmonies (barbershop-style) from the international champion quartet Instant Classic. There is no cost to participate in this third annual event presented by the Kentuckians Chorus.
Founded in 1960, The Kentuckians Chorus is the Lexington, Kentucky, Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society (Cardinal District). They are a group of men drawn together by singing and preserving the style of music known as Barbershop. In addition to active community involvement through annual shows and performances, they are committed to improving their craft of close four-part harmony, a cappella singing.
