The Kentucky Book Festival takes place Saturday, Nov. 1, and is hosting a series of activities in the week leading up to the main event.
On Thursday, Oct. 30, the hosts of public radio’s A Way with Words, Martha Barnette and Grant Barrett, will be in conversation and entertain the audience not only with literary content similar to their show, but also by taking questions from the audience about their own literary conundrums. The event is set for 7 p.m. at Joseph-Beth. Tickets are required through an online reservation on JBB’s website with a book purchase. The book will be available for pick up at the event, and a book signing will follow the presentation.
Visit kybookfestival.org for more details, including a full list of 150 participating authors on Saturday, Nov.1 along with details on a free book giveaway for children up to age 14, event sponsors, panels, discussions and activities of interest.
