Lil BoB:The Wooks/ Kati Penn & Jr. Williams at Parlay Social

The third annual Best of Bluegrass (BoB) will look a bit different than the past two years, with one “‘Lil BoB” event taking place in the week preceding the annual Festival of the Bluegrass. Several other BoB events will be concentrated in October around the week of the Breeders’ Cup, when the city is transformed into a festival zone reminiscent of 2010’s “Spotlight Lexington.”The Wooks are a young, energetic bluegrass band led by banjoist and renaissance man Arthur Hancock. Kati Penn aNd Jr Williams make up the popular and nationally-touring, but Lexington-based- Newtown.
