PRHBTN: A Celebration of Street Art
Lexington’s annual street art festival returns for its fifth year with weeklong celebration of public art including the installation of four large scale public murals from visiting artists, a free live-art event in Lexington’s Distillery District, gallery works from Lexington’s street art community.
The independent arts organization has facilitated the creation of large scale public murals throughout downtown Lexington, including the iconic Lincoln mural by Eduardo Kobra, as well as pieces by acclaimed international artists ROA, How and Nosm, MTO, and many more. This year’s event will feature international artists Odeith (Lisbon, Portugal), Sheryo and The Yok (New York City), Mr Dheo (Porto, Portugal), and a special mural by Hitnes (Rome, Italy).
PRHBTN will present a live music event featuring all-local artists at Cosmic Charlie’s on Oct. 9, and will culminate with a free, family friendly outdoor event on Oct. 10 at the Lexington Distillery District campus on Manchester Street with all-local art, food, live music and selections from Lexington breweries.
