The second home game of the season will be Saturday, July 13th. ROCK’s All-Stars Team (the ROCK Stars) will take on the South Bend Roller Derby Studebreakers (from South Bend, Indiana) at 5pm, while ROCK’s B team (the Indie ROCKers) will compete against the South Bend Bonnie Dooms at 7pm. This will be the first time the two teams have played since the championship game of the Smalltown Smackdown tournament in 2023, where ROCK took the win! Doors open to the public at 4pm. You won’t want to miss this epic rematch!
The event is pet adoption themed, and ROCK will be fundraising to support the Lexington Humane Society (https://lexingtonhumanesociety.org/) – the largest pet adoption agency in Central Kentucky, responsible for educating the community on responsible pet care and the compassionate treatment of all animals and spaying/neutering the pets of qualifying families at a low cost.
Adult tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door. Tickets for ages 7-12 will be $10 at the door, while children ages 6 and under may attend for free. As a nonprofit organization, sponsors are essential to the success of ROCK.
