Chrisman Mill joins with the non-profit organization A Villager's Hand to present this around-the-world wine & dine experience.
Attendees are invited to celebrate and visit five of the villages that the non-profit “A Villager’s Hand” supports, and to indulge in an 8-course meal with wine pairings as they travel around the world visiting each countries.
Each person will start their journey with a "boarding pass" and "passport" to begin their travel through time to places around the world enjoying handmade authentic street food selections and local wine pairings.
This walking tour through the idyllic Chrisman Mill vineyard, in Nicholasville, Ky., features six different chef stations featuring people from each country who will immerse attendees into life in their country while introducing each unique food and wine pairing.The adventure includes stops in Turkey, Indonesia, Ghana, Peru and Kenya. The sixth and final destination is back in the United States, at the tasting room where guests will enjoy a delectable sampling of handmade desserts from each country and meet Jo Brosius, an accomplished CNN reporter and the originator of “A Villager’s Hand.”
A Villager’s Hand’s will also host a pop-up shop at the event featuring unique handmade items made by the people from the countries represented as well as a silent auction area where unique gifts can be found and bid on. Finally, guests are invited to kick back and relax on our covered deck area while enjoying live music and traditional dancing under the stars.

Proceeds from this event go to “A Villager’s Hand,” a true fair trade organization that sends 100% of all donations back to the people of these villages.
