The Kentucky Book Festival takes place Saturday, Nov. 1, and is hosting a series of activities in the week leading up to the main event.
On Tuesday, Oct. 28, experience Wendell Berry’s latest novel of the Port William series, titled Marce Catlett: A Force of a Story. This event, which begins at 7 p.m. at Joseph-Beth Booksellers, will include readings from the book by well-known Kentucky authors against a visual backdrop that will take attendees’ imaginations to Port William and the men and women who call this place home. Tickets are required with online registration through a book purchase. The book will be available for pick up at the event, and a book plate will be provided with each purchase.
Visit kybookfestival.org for more details, including a full list of 150 participating authors on Saturday, Nov.1 along with details on a free book giveaway for children up to age 14, event sponsors, panels, discussions and activities of interest.
