Mark your calendars! Mark Stoops will be signing bottles of the newly released Whiskey Bear Barrel Select from RD1 Spirits on Thursday, February 23, 2023, from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. Attendees will have the opportunity to taste some RD1 bourbons, meet Mark Stoops, and get bottles signed.
This barrel-proof, smoked hickory-finished Kentucky bourbon is the 2022 Whiskey Bear Staff Pick and the newest addition to the bar's barrel select lineup. A limited quantity of bottles are now available for purchase at bar's Beaumont location.
Nose: Crème brulée, sweet cinnamon, toasted hickory, and late summer grasses
Taste: Melted caramel, roasted hickory, with hints of baking spices
Finish: Long finish with spicy cinnamon, vanilla
