Summertime is the best time to cool off and relax outdoors with friends, cold adult beverage in hand. This summer, if you are looking to impress your guests and up your frozen drink game – with a hint of whimsy that nods to days gone by – boozy popsicles are just the answer.
These Red, White and Blueberry popsicles are a fun twist on a classic summer beverage: the frozen margarita. Mash up your favorite margarita flavors with any combination of seasonal fruit for endless popsicle possibilities – watermelon, classic margarita and blueberry popsicles are shown here, but strawberry and peach are other seasonal Kentucky flavors that come to mind.
Make ahead of time and enjoy at your next backyard event, and omit alcohol/increase limeade for non-drinking friends and kiddos.
