The now-annual installment of Lexington's longstanding Big Band & Jazz Series at the Moondance at Midnight Pass amphitheater will begin May 14.
Traditionally held every summer at Ecton Park, last year organizers split the concert series between the two venues, a format they will continue this year. Concerts at Moondance will be held every Tuesday from May 14 - June 25; concerts at Ecton Park will begin July 2 and will be held every Tuesday through Aug. 27.
Concerts are from 7 − 8:30 p.m. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. For those not wanting to pack a picnic, new this year, the Athenian Grill food truck will be onsite selling food and refreshments.
The Moondance at Midnight Pass amphitheater is located in Beaumont Circle (152 Monarch St.).

May 14: Young at Heart Big Band
May 21: The MetroGnomes
May 28: The Bluegrass Area Jazz Ambassadors (BAJA)
June 4: Joey & The Cruisers
June 11: Ozone
June 18: Lexington Concert Band
June 25: Tim Lake & the Blue Jazz Persuaders
