Next weekend, three different age divisions of Eastern American Little League, Lexington’s Little League baseball team based out of Ecton Park, will travel to Bowling Green to participate in the 2014 Kentucky State Little League Baseball Tournament.
It marks the first time in Ecton Park’s 30-plus year Little League history that all three of Eastern’s age divisions – the 9-10 Allstars, 10-11 Allstars and 11-12 Allstars – will represent the district at the state level. It also marks the 75th anniversary of the Little League program.
