Hiring, and renovation of ACS' fifth Lexington location, is already underway, with training classes starting weekly.
Approximately 200 of these positions will be permanent, and the balance will
have the possibility of converting to permanent positions based on ACS' needs and the success of this new facility.
Starting pay is $9.50/hour or higher, depending on the position.
ACS has more than 4,000 employees in Kentucky, including approximately 2,000 employees in Lexington.

Newberry said the Bluegrass Business Development Partnership worked with ACS to bring in the new jobs to Lexington.
The Mayor worked with Commerce Lexington and the University of Kentucky to form the partnership in 2007.
The partnership works to bring new companies to Lexington and to help local companies expand.
To date, the partnership has brought over 2,800 jobs to Lexington.
