DeWeese's responsibilities will include the
complete oversight of our Louisville, Central Kentucky, Northern Kentucky and Western Kentucky
Markets, including the private banking department
and mortgage lending department.
Farmers Capital Bank Corporation has announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Lloyd C. Hillard, Jr. as president and chief executive officer of the company. Hillard replaces G. Anthony Busseni, who resigned. Hillard previously has served as president and chief executive officer of First Citizens Bank, Elizabethtown, Kentucky, a subsidiary of the Company, since 1992. He is also a director of the company.
Chandler N. Hodge has joined the Lexington office of Greenebaum Doll & McDonald PLLC as an associate in the corporate and commercial practice group.
LexArts has welcomed its new chief operating officer, Tania Blanich. Blanich previously has served as director of the Program for Media Artists, a Rockefeller Foundation initiative that supported the creation of innovative film, video and new media projects, and as associate director of National Video Resources, a New York-based foundation dedicated to assisting the dissemination of independent media.

Midway College has announced the promotion of Johnie Dean to associate vice president of institutional effectiveness. In this position, Dean will work with the college community to obtain data to determine the effectiveness of the college in meeting its mission for strategic planning and also college accreditation. Dean previously has served as an adjunct faculty member as well as director of institutional effectiveness.
Christy J. Stucker has been appointed as executive director of America's Uptown Hounds Luxury Resorts.
Hospice of the Bluegrass has announced its board officers for 2010. They include Darryl K. Love, Ashland, Inc., as chair; Laura Tanno Boison, ES Barr & Company, as vice-chair; Melba Bjornson, Villa Hills, as treasurer; and Woodford Webb, The Webb Companies, as secretary.
