Lexington, KY - How about some bourbon, blues and bluegrass? If you’re fan of one or all three, you are in for a treat as Buffalo Trace Distillery partners with Michael Johnathon’s WoodSongs Old-Time Radio Hour on Saturday, June 23rd to bring a double broadcast of two great Kentucky musical artists, Bobby Osborne, best known for “Rocky Top,” and Joan Osborne (no relation to Bobby) best known for “One of Us.”
Several area wineries have held concerts, but Buffalo Trace is the first distillery to get in on the act and try it for themselves. This will be the first musical broadcast held on the grounds of the Frankfort distillery. “We’ve wanted to hold some kind of music festival for years here at Buffalo Trace since our grounds provide a natural amphitheater, so we’re excited to partner with WoodSongs this summer for our first ever outdoor broadcast,” said Amy Preske, PR and Events Manager, Buffalo Trace Distillery.
