E. Michael Eastman has been named vice president for development and alumni relations at Eastern Kentucky University. Eastman, vice president for university advancement at Indiana’s Manchester University since 2005, will bring nearly 30 years of fundraising experience to the position. He will join the Eastern staff on Aug. 1.
Matthew Joefreda has joined Kentucky Bank as vice president and commercial lender. Joefreda has worked 14 years in commercial lending for previous banks in Lexington. He will be based in the Lexington office, at 360 E. Vine Street.
Forcht Bank has named Jeremy Brooking to Treasury Management. He has nearly 10 years of banking experience, formerly with PNC of Lexington.
Joseph Griffin joined Republic Bank as an assistant vice president, relationship manager of mortgage warehouse lending.
Fifth Third Bank has announced the addition of Brandon Drake as a retail regional manager. Travis Johnson has joined the bank as a mortgage loan originator in Harrodsburg, Ky. Jennifer Wilson has been promoted to wealth management advisor for Fifth Third’s Private Bank division.
UK HealthCare, in collaboration with Marshall Emergency Services Associates (MESA), has appointed Dr. Allison Rains as the new medical director for UK Good Samaritan Hospital’s Emergency Medicine Services.
Jennifer Mueller has joined MESA Medical Group as marketing director. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing, developing and managing the strategic marketing initiatives for branding, Internet marketing, advertising, social media, events and other marketing avenues.
Tara H. Davis has been promoted to assistant director at Dismas Charities Lexington, a residential re-entry center.
LM Communications Broadcast Media Group has announced the appointment of Don Pollnow to national sales manager in Lexington. Pollnow has been local sales manager in Lexington for LM Communications for two years.
Engineer Wayne Thomas has joined the Staggs & Fisher Consulting Engineers, Inc’s electrical division. Thomas has 23 years of experience in the engineering industry.

McBrayer, McGinnis, Leslie & Kirkland, PLLC has announced that Anne-Tyler Morgan joined the firm as an associate in the Lexington office. Her practice will focus in the area of health-care law.
Ashlee-Nicole Crump has been named the director of student services at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine.
Hospice of the Bluegrass has appointed DenEllen Coldiron, RN, MSN, OCN, CHPN as the site director for the clinical office that serves patients in Lexington and Jessamine County.
Fred Siegelman has been appointed as the director of Kentucky Correctional Industries. Siegelman had served as Versailles mayor since 1999 before accepting this appointment to run the division that focuses on inmate work experience.

The Lexington-Fayette County Board of Health has elected Scott White as chair and Dr. John P. Riley as vice chair for the 2013-14 fiscal year beginning July 1. White will be the first non-medical/public-health official to lead the board in its history.
