Traditional Bank is opening a new branch just off Nicholasville Road in the Zandale area that incorporates more of modern design than it does a traditional one, according to Dana Adamson, Traditional Bank’s marketing director and assistant vice president.
In addition to having the teller counter feel more like a new hotel’s front desk and a concierge approach by customer service representatives, the bank will feature a coffee bar inside the branch, with coffee supplied by one of the bank’s customers and neighbors in the Zandale area, Common Grounds, Adamson said. The new branch will also feature a small conference room suitable for six to eight people that will be open for use by bank clients.
“It’s something that has worked well in most of our branches, but it was just by way of a client asking. So this is really kind of the same thing we’ve seen success with at our other branches, but we’re just taking a little more of a forward approach with it,” she said.
Most of the changes during construction on the building that has housed banks before will be aesthetic, Adamson said, but work is being done to widen lanes in the drive-through.
