For this year's annual real estate issue, we've taken a new direction, highlighting what our editorial staff considers to be five great neighborhoods in Lexington. Each of these areas strike a balance of various elements that we feel makes a neighborhood “great” – whether that means walkability, neighborhood aesthetic, school district, general sense of community and/or proximity to culinary, retail and other cultural amenities.
Click each neighborhood title for more information on each area, including a breakdown of residential real estate stats from recent home sales!
For the sake of this article and the accompanying statistics, each neighborhood is defined by the highlighted section on the accompanying map. The maps and statistics that follow were provided by the Fayette County PVA office (www.FayettePVA.com).
