For its 11th year, the Halftone Zine Fest (formerly known as the Ephemera Festival & the Kentucky Fried Zine Fest) will take place on Saturday, May 11, 2024 from noon-4:00 PM at the University of Kentucky’s School of Art & Visual Studies (SA/VS). This event is free for all ages and open to the public. Vendors will be displaying zines (independently produced magazines), comix, and printed art in a variety of forms. Interactive talks and workshops are planned throughout the day. The organizers intend to create an inclusive space for all to meet, interact, and learn from one another about DIY publishing.
