Fayette Fest will entertain attendees from 12pm-6pm with a family and pet-friendly festival celebrating horses and hounds. Live music, local food trucks and restaurants, equine education, a parade of breeds, the Kentucky Department of Agriculture mobile science center, local artists, a Kentucky Proud market, dog contests and much more will be featured.
Attendees of all ages can enjoy an interactive equine experience as Fayette Fest will put a spotlight on a variety of horses during the Standardbred harness racing. More than 20 breeds will be featured - from miniature to Clydesdale - in a parade walking the track. Pet the parade horses immediately following the 2p walk.
Horses and hounds go hand-in-hand with Standardbreds in Kentucky. Fayette Fest is a dog-friendly event with a dog agility course, costume and look-alike contests. Hound headliner and national touring act Flying Houndz Frizbee Trick Dog Show will join the live entertainment lineup with shows at 12:30pm, 3:15 pm and 5pm.
