Lexington Public Library Open Mic Night featuring Maurice Manning

Lexington Public Library’s next Open Mic Night will feature renowned poet Maurice Manning. Manning is a former Guggenheim Fellow, Yale Series of Younger Poets winner, and Pulitzer Prize finalist. His eighth book, "Snakedoctor," is newly published by Copper Canyon Press. Manning’s first book won the Yale Series of Younger Poets. Open Mic participants are invited to share 3-4 minutes of poetry, spoken word, etc. Content should be appropriate for teens and adults.
