Psychic City is a new local promotion company started by Clark Bullock (also of Vectortone / Cosmic Charlie’s) focusing on “outsider” arts, from punk and metal to hardcore, experimental and other heavy genres of music. With Psychic City, Bullock says he hopes to meet what he considers a huge local demand for these types of shows that has primarily gone unmet in recent years.
To kick things off, Psychic City will host a mini-festival showcase featuring 7 bands at Best Friend Bar on Saturday, July 22. The event kicks off at 6 p.m. and goes all evening.
