Established in 2011, Teen Howl Poetry Series is an open mic opportunity for poets ages 14-21.Taking place the first Thursday of the month, the series is designed as a safe space for young poets to share and perform their written word among their peers.
Originally hosted by published authors Elizabeth Beck and Jay McCoy, the organizing torch has been passed to Teen Howl Alumni, Jessica Taylor and Hunter Nelson. Sign up begins at 5:30 PM, reading will begin at 6:00 PM. Writers are encouraged to bring 1-2 poems.
