The Lexington Ballet: Dance Out Loud
This performance displays the extensive repertoire that Artistic Director, Luis Dominguez, has established for the Lexington Ballet throughout the years. Specially created for this event is Eugene Ysaye’s violin solo, Sonata No. 3, which will be performed live by David Mason, first chair violinist with the Lexington Philharmonic. Eugene Ysaye was a well-loved Belgian composer, conductor, and performing violinist in Europe, who also served as conductor of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra from 1918 until 1922.
